Millennium Fellowship

Mission

The United Nation Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network (MCN) have formed a strategic partnership to convene, challenge, and celebrate student leadership advancing UN goals on worldwide campuses. Student-run cohorts have been selected for two years in a row at FIU starting in 2019. For more detailed information visit the Millennium Fellowship website.

Activities

  • Design and implement a project to advance the 17 Sustainable Development Goals impacting the local community
  • Participate in biweekly leadership development sessions with the FIU cohort
  • Collaborate with a cohort of 8-20+ FIU students and with fellows at universities across the world
  • Participate in webinars with social impact leaders and other international movers and shakers including global business executives, diplomats and journalists from national and international organizations
  • Attend a global graduation ceremony and receive a Millennium Fellowship Certificate upon successful completion of project
