Rupert L. Lyn Scholarship
Established by a Global Learning Medallion alumna, the purpose of this scholarship fund is to support students pursuing the FIU Global Learning Medallion to be able to complete a capstone project: globally focused research, internship, fellowship, study abroad, or language study.
Bob Farrell Scholarship
Established in honor of a founding FIU faculty member, this scholarship supports students pursuing globally focused research and practice in sustainable development, particularly students enrolled in the Peace Corps Prep or Global Learning Medallion programs.
The U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers over 3,600 scholarships of up to $5,000 allowing U.S. undergraduates to complete a study or internship abroad program. Applications are open twice per year.
LACC OGLI Research
The Office of Global Learning Initiatives and the Kimberly Green Latin American & Caribbean Center offer Global Learning Medallion students the opportunity to conduct research relevant to Latin America and/or the Caribbean under the mentorship of a faculty member. Critical Language Scholarship Program
The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program offers American students enrolled at U.S. colleges and universities the opportunity to learn languages essential to the United States' engagement with the world. Students spend eight to ten weeks abroad studying one of 15 critical languages in an intensive overseas language and cultural immersion program.
Office of Scholarships
Annually, the Office of Scholarships at FIU offers prestigious scholarship awards to cover graduate tuition, fees, room and board. These awards include the Barry Goldwater Scholarship, the Udall Undergraduate Scholarship, and the Truman Scholarship.
