Bio
Connie M. Viamonte has a PhD in Comparative Sociology. Her specialties are gender, sexuality, and identity. She is a Visitin Assistant Teaching Professor for the Global First Year Program at FIU. She also teaches for the Honors College and Global Sociocultural Studies Department. Additionally, she serves as evaluator for the MARC U-STAR and TBBS programs on campus, as well as the FGLSAMP program for the state of Florida.
