Bio

Kateel Shetty is an Associate Research Professor in the department of Earth and Environment, and he is also the Director of the Agroecology Certificate Program. He specializes in Plant Pathology and Applied Environmental Microbiology. He teaches two Global Learning-designated courses: Introducation to Environmental Science and Sustainable Agriculture. He uses community engagement activities and different types of in-class active learning activities to provide meaningful, real-world learning opportunities and inclusiveness.
