He is a lifelong south Floridian who grew up in the Florida Keys and Miami-Dade County. That was how he developed a passion for understanding and sharing the uniqueness of the south Florida area. He acquired his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Florida International University (FIU) with an emphasis on hydrogeology.
