Bio

Dr. Ross Nedervelt is an Adunct Lecturer of History and holds a Ph.D. in History from Florida International University. His research examines the intersection of border regions, identity, and security in the British Atlantic world during the Age of Revolutions. He teaches courses on the history of the United States and the Caribbean with a focus on the American Revolution and the Early Republic, the comparative colonial Caribbean, U.S.-Caribbean relations, and revolutionary and resistance movements in the Atlantic.
