Nathaniel Cadle

Bio

Dr. Nathaniel Cadle is an associate professor of English at Florida International University. He is the author of The Mediating Nation: Late American Realism, Globalization, and the Progressive State (University of North Carolina Press, 2014), which won the SAMLA Studies Book Award in 2014. He is the co-editor of Rethinking Place through Literary Form (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022). He teaches courses in American literature from the Civil War through the Second World War. His current research focuses on the role of the American left in the Mexican Revolution.
