Bio

Catherine Mas, PhD, is a historian of science, medicine, and American society. Her research and teaching focus on transnational United States history and the intersections of health, race, and religion. At FIU, Dr. Mas aims to deepen students' understanding fo the global and local currents that have shaped knowledge, bodies, and politics, through a range of courses on global health, science, and modern American culture.
