Bio

She is a Teaching Professor of Spanish Studies and oversees the Spanish program for lower division courses. In addition to creating four global learning courses, she teaches a variety of Spanish classes that emphasize cultural understanding, language proficiency, and global perspectives. She directs a study abroad program in Spain focused on language and culture, offering students immersive learning experiences. Furthermore, she is an official examiner and administrator for the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera), working closely with Instituto Cervantes. Her work bridges academic instruction with real-world global language and cultural engagement.
