Bio
Dr. Brenda Luna is an Academic Advisor (STEM) and Faculty Fellow for the Honors College. At FIU, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Master's of Public Health, and PhD in Public Health. Her research interests include environmental health and global health issues, such as childhood epilepsy, lead poisoning, and HIV/AIDS. Previously, at the Florda Department of Health's Bureau of Public Health Laboratories, she performed HIV testing for the CDC's National HIV Behavioral Surveillance.
