Bio

A Teaching Professor in the Teaching & Learning Department, Teresa Lucas arrived at FIU after receiving her doctoral degree in Multilingual/Multicultural Education from Florida State University. Born and raised in the United States, she developed an understanding of the global nature of humanity as she navigated her way to bilingualism/biculturalism during years of living, raising a family, and engaging in various educational activities in Venezuela.
