Lisa Stolzenberg

Bio

Lisa Stolzenberg is currently a Professor and Chair of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida International University’s Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. She received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Criminology from Florida State University. Her research focuses on disparity in the criminal justice system, repeat offending, terrorism, police misconduct, and medical marijuana laws. Her research has received considerable media coverage and appears in top-tier journals in criminology and sociology, including Criminology, Justice Quarterly, Journal of Criminal Justice, American Sociological Review, Social Forces, and Social Problems, among others.
