Professor Sutton has been a globally engaged faculty member for many years now, both on campus and in numerous study abroad courses and programs. Whether it is a Shakespeare or Exile Studies class, or even Approaches to Literature, Sutton is always looking for diverse ways to connect and engage students in informed and high-quality global learning. And, for more than 30 years, in Italy and England, and now every summer across the UK, he relishes leading FIU students on richly curated, jam-packed Study Abroad experiences full of the unexpected and the new and the "passing strange": hallmarks of global learning, always.
