Bio

Jennifer Gebelein, Ph.D., is a leader in the application of 21 Century Skills to active engagement in teaching and learnin in online, hybrid, and fully face to face environments. She is passionate about student success in all learning environments and applying cuttin edge approaches to proactively engage, retain, and encourage student progression and achievement. The focus of her recent work has been between the marriage of technology and analytics related to big data trends and patterns for student success initiatives and university-wide projects. Presently, she is the Director of Academic Initiatives in the Division of Academic and Career Success at FIU. She is also a Research Professor in the Department of Earth & Environment.
