Bio
Dr. Fraser, a 40-year-plus resident of South Florida and triple FIU graduate, is very excited to assist the Public Policy and Administration Chair, faculty, and students as the Assistant Chair of the Department. Her involvement includes recognition as a Global Learning and COIL distinguished faculty member, collaboration with CIBER, the FIU Writing Center, and the Frost Museum at FIU, to advance FIU's Next Horizon 2024 strategic vision to be a top 50 public university. As an Assistant Teaching Professor at FIU, Dr. Fraser connects with students online or in the classroom and mentors Pathways and 4+1 P.A. students, encouraging and supporting their professional public sector goals. Additionally, Dr. Fraser has been an active ASPA member for 12 years, currently as President-Elect, and is the faculty advisor to Pi Alpha Alpha, the global Public Affairs Honor Society.
