Amilcar Castellano-Sanchez, MD, is a Venezuelan American Pathologist interested in literature, art, medicine, reading and writing and how that enriches our lives and the journeys of those with whom we interact. Teaching has been an essential part of his academic life. According to him, "Teaching globally makes it unique, as I am then able to integrate other cultures, fields of knowledge and various intersts from my students and other participating faculty."
