Virtual Capstone Project: Paper Airplanes (Student must commit to 5 hours per week)
Virtual Point Opportunity: Watch past Tuesday Times Roundtables, take a screenshot and write a 250-word reflection about the specific session you watched to receive credit. (Submission guidelines remain the same. Students can receive up to four points with this opportunity)
The Global Learning Medallion is an interactive, participatory program consisting of an extensive series of courses and activities designed to enhance your global awareness, global perspective, and attitude of global engagement.
Participation in the Medallion program connects you to invaluable, high impact opportunities such as exclusive internships, student organizations focused on international and intercultural issues, study abroad, and the opportunity to exchange ideas and to network during roundtable discussions.
Completion of the program offers evidence and recognition of your specific achievements and experiences to employers and graduate schools.
As a Medallion student, you will receive personalized mentorship in order to identify the specific, qualifying opportunities that are most relevant to your academic and career goals. If you have questions about this program, please contact us at email@example.com.
Important Enrollment Information
You must sign up for the Medallion to start earning it! It is vital that we know you are interested and can communicate directly with you throughout your customized journey. Enrollment during your final semester is not permitted. The Medallion is open to current FIU undergraduate students.
YES! Fully-online students can earn the Medallion, too! Just check the box on the sign up form if you take 100% of your classes online, every semester.

What are the requirements?
|Course Requirement: Complete a minimum of four (4) global learning-designated courses at FIU, with a grade of C or higher. Transfer students with 60 or more credits only need two (2) global learning-designated courses. |

•A substantial original research project and presentation on a global topic
•4 courses of study in one foreign language
•Study abroad of 20 or more days
