The Office of Global Learning Initiatives, the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs, and the U.S. Department of State are partnering to give one student the opportunity to “discover diplomacy” during a visit to Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. (Interested students should be available Oct. 25-27th for travel).
The Discover Diplomacy conference will bring together students, educators and policy-makers to explore the value and impact of American diplomacy. In plenaries, panels and breakout sessions, attendees will engage with diplomats and experts to discuss how they respond to issues and crises, work with international partners to solve problems of mutual concern, and how their efforts protect and defend U.S. interests.
FIU will select one student who will receive airfare and hotel accommodations to attend the conference.
