If so, consider this opportunity to present your work to a select group of FIU's Corporate Advisers between 12:30-2:30PM on Feburary 15 in CBC 241.
These advisers can give you valuable feedback on your presentation
skills. It is also a great networking opportunity as they are also
potential employers. Before presenting, you may wish to secure the
services of the Communications Studio for them to help you make the best
impressions at http://comm-arts.fiu.edu/comm-arts-studio/index.html
We gratefully acknowledge the support of Wells
Fargo in presenting this unique event. FIU is honored to partner with Wells
Fargo to strengthen communities in Florida and across the nation.
Each presenter (or team of presenters) should prepare a 15 minute
presentation which incorporates the following points:
1. 1. Describe
the project and your actions in the project.
2. 2. How did
you apply your passion, talent and ideas to impact lives?
3. 3. How did
you facilitate a project that was not aimed to hand out help to people in need,
but to work side-by-side with them to create opportunity, empowering every
person and the community you touched, to live up to their fullest potential?
The best four presenters will receive funding to attend the
ENACTUS regional competition in Atlanta, Georgia. To read more about this
event view the following: http://www.enactusunitedstates.org/events/view/29
. At the competition students will present their projects (and/or those
from other FIU students). They are evaluated by ENACTUS alumni and
business leaders who serve as judges who rank them on how successful they were
at using “business concepts to enable progress through entrepreneurial action.”
In addition to the Enactus competitions, an all-day career fair and a forum
held during lunch further enhance the unique connections these events create
among the student, academic and business leaders in attendance.
will be served to students between 12:00 noon and 12:30PM to give you ample
time to eat, compose yourself and be ready to participate and listen to the
presentations. To ensure that we have sufficient food, please confirm
your attendance either as a presenter or audience participant at email@example.com.
